These are the 4 major laws MSI uses to repair our clients’ credit
FCRA (FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT)
States that you have the right to dispute anything that appears on your credit report and the creditors, collection agencies & bureaus have a limited amount of time to respond to a request for an investigation (45 days max) or the derogatory the information must be removed.
FDCPA (FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT)
States that, in order for a creditor, collection agency or bureaus to collect or report a debt they have to be able to VALIDATE it with a detailed billing history, signed contract, etc…
FACTA (FAIR AND ACCURATE CREDIT TRANSACTION ACT)
This law was signed as an amendment to the FCRA which gives you & I the right as consumers to dispute anything that appears on our credit report in order to have an 100% accurate credit report. We will be exercising this right and disputing your negative items that appear on your report.
HIPAA (HEALTH INSURANCE PORTABILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY ACT)
This law states that doctors & hospitals cannot give your personal medical information to anybody, including a 3rd party in an attempt to report or collect a debt. If they do, they have violated this federal law.
