Congrats on taking the first steps to get your credit back on track. We wanted to go over expectations and extra information to make your time in our program as effective and efficient as possible!
- Timeline: The MSI Credit Solutions process is 6 to 8 months with people seeing results at different times. Some see results in the 6th month while others reach their goals earlier. Unfortunately, we have no way to predict whether you will see results at the beginning, middle, or end of the program.
- Accurate Item Listings: Once you have logged into your client portal you will see three dash lines in the upper lefthand corner. You should see a list of headings, the second one should be accurate Item Listings. Click Accurate Item Listings, then you should see a list of items with boxes that are already checked next to them. If you believe all items are inaccurate and wish to lawfully dispute them remove the checks from the boxes, then hit next. That permits us to attack those negative items for you!
- Correspondence: Now that you have done your Accurate Item Listings we can send out the audit letters for you. Once the creditors, collection agencies, and bureaus receive the audits, they have 45 days max to respond. They will be sending those responses to your address. For the best results please respond front and back, scan those in, and upload them to your client portal. You can also scan them and send them to results@msicredit.com Please do not send them to your consultant.
- Credit Cards: If you currently do not have any credit cards, we recommend you get a secured credit card that reports to all three bureaus. We are going to help remove the negative items from your credit, but to have a good credit score you need to establish a good payment history. Cards that do not do a credit check, and also are secured and report to all the bureaus. If you already have credit cards that is good! You want to keep your credit cards paid down. A good rule is to keep the balance at zero if possible.
- Client Referral Program: As you see we are going to help you on the road to reach your credit goals. We can also help you while helping your friends. We have a referral program and for every person you refer that enrolls we will waive one of your monthly maintenance payments. Saving your money while helping your friends achieve their credit goals as well! What is the first name you can think of who could benefit from our service? - Credit Monitoring: Are you still active with Identity IQ? If not, we recommend keeping your account, as that is the only way for us to actively monitor your scores, and keep your item removal log accurate and up to date. If you are still active with Identity IQ great! Identity IQ allows you to see your scores month over month as well as see the items that have come off your credit report. At the same time letting you know any new items that show up so we can attack them for you. Having Identity IQ means you know when your scores reach your personal goal, that way you can take the option to cancel early and move on to accomplishing what you are working towards! If we used your mortgage report to get started, you will not want to do a hard credit pull every month to see your score. This is why we recommend getting an Identity IQ account which is only 29.95 a month. For this, Identity IQ will monitor your scores month over month, and at the same time, we can see which items have come off your credit report and see if anything new shows up we need to attack for you. - Pay to Delete: We have the option to call and negotiate with the company to remove an item from your credit history if we pay the collection amount. This is another service we offer as part of our program. This works especially well if you have run out of time and must buy right now, or you feel you have been waiting too long on an item, or if the company has validated one of your accounts.
- Housing Department: If you are wanting to purchase a home when your credit increases. Are you currently working with a realtor or loan officer? If so, we like to make sure your realtor or loan officer is up to date on your progress, that way they can be prepared to get you into your new home as quickly as possible! Please send the contact information for your partner to clientservices@msicredit.com, so we can get them logged into our partner portal, and you can get into your new home quicker! If you don’t have a realtor or loan officer that is great news! Any client in our credit repair program that does not have a loan officer or realtor is eligible to use our Housing Department. When you use our real estate agents and loan department to purchase your new home, we will credit your initial investment and your monthly maintenance fees at the closing of your new home! When your score reaches 620+ we will reach out, and get you started on the road to homeownership.
