What is your credit costing you?

If you were referred to MSI by your lender it has cost you the home loan you were attempting to get, but that does not apply to what you are paying out of pocket today.

Did you know your insurance rates can be based off of your credit scores? 47 states currently allow insurance companies to inflate your car insurance rates based on your credit scores. Why else would they need your Social Security number to provide you a rate?

Do you currently have an open auto loan? Here is an example that may fit your situation. Let’s say you went to purchase a $10,000 car and put down around $2000. All of that $2000 went to loan fees. You now have a $375/month car payment for 48 months. If you do the math, you are paying $20,000 for a $10,000 car. With improved credit scores you could have bought the same car for $2000 down and had the same payment for about 26 months, or a payment closer to $200 for 48 months and saved yourself $8,000.

Here is another real life example. Have you had to pay deposits when hooking up your utilities or getting a cell phone? That is based on your credit scores as well. Providers see you as a risk based on your scores and force you to make a deposit for their services in anticipation of you not paying your bill.

MSI can help you restore your credit and save money. It starts with reviewing your credit report, educating you on how credit really works, and putting a plan together to restore your credit by investigating negative and inaccurate items.

If you are like me, you have a family to take care of. It is very costly to run a household and anything that will cut my expenses is something I should be looking in to, wouldn’t you agree?
